Pool pump

During the summer, many pool owners will discover that they need to run their pool pump for an additional 8 to 12 hours every day. The secret to managing a possible algae problem is to keep the chemicals flowing and the water passing through the filter.

Brushing

Regular brushing is essential to ensure that there are no sluggish spots or hiding places where algae could grow. Regular brushing is crucial since very few vacuums and pumps can reach every inch of your pool’s wall and floor.

Filters

There is often a lot of debris in the water as a result of strong winds, storms, and the abrupt increase in plant growth. Therefore, in order to prevent blockages, you will need to clear out your pool filters more frequently. Additionally, a brief weekly backwash would be beneficial.

Chemistry

Your pool’s chemicals have to work considerably harder due to more activity, extra bacteria from people and floaties, and good ol’ algae. In order to maintain the ideal balance during warmer weather, you will undoubtedly need to test and treat your water once a week.
